Hello, My name is Todd Green. I have been teaching in Anchor Bay Schools since 1999. I am happy to be teaching elementary technology once a week to students in grades k-5. Our classes meet for 60 minutes. Currently I teach at Lottie Elementary, and Maconce Elementary. I am also teaching Project lead the way classes (60 minutes) at at the two elementary schools. Project Lead the way will be taught during the second and fourth marking period. For more information on Project Lead the Way please click on the the following link. PLTW
I earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University.
This year at Maconce Elementary and Lottie Elementary your students are going to have the opportunity to see how fun learning can be when using computers to produce projects. We start at the beginning learning parts of the computer, computer etiquette, and how to use the mouse correctly. Third grade will learn to keyboard so they can move to keyboarding by touch. As they advance with their keyboarding my goal is to introduce Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft 365, and PowerPoint to the students through fun and interesting assignments that they will get to experience firsthand on their computers. When researching for different assignments they will have the chance to use the Internet and learning how to use it safely.
